Hi!  My name is David Moorthy and I am the intern teacher of the Marigold grade 7 class of 1988.  I am 23 years old.  I was was born in Singapore on September 26, 1964.  My family moved to British Columbia when I was  7 years old.  I have spent most of my life in Abbotsford.  I enjoy playing soccer, lifting weights and teaching!  I was 16 years old when I made the decision to become a teacher.  I have attended the University of Victoria for the past five years.  I will be graduating from university on May 22, 1988.  I have learned a lot from this grade 7 class.  I will never forget the students of Marigold's graduating class of 1988!

Twenty years from now I will be 43 years old.  I will be married and have two children.  I will be the new principal of Marigold Elementary, once Mr. Allan has retired and Mr. Hambleton  has gone on to become the provincial  Minister of Education.  In twenty years;  Coreen,  Melissa and Marlene will buy me a new car.  Kyle, Jerred, Nicky, Greg, Michael Bratulic and Michael Beveridge  will buy me the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.  Steven and Lonney will buy me a comedy club.  Tyler, Ryan, Ross, James and Scott will put their money together and buy me the island of Hawaii.  Zail, Shannon, Jocelyn and Erin will buy me a modelling agency.  Allison will give me the gold medal she won in the 1994 Olympics.  Amy, Dorothy, Angela, Candice and  Kathy  will  put their money together and buy me a horse ranch in Alberta.  Ann, Marly, Chandra, Nina  and Nicole will buy me a cruise ship.  David, Frank,  Charla, Willie, Keith and Hujmail  will buy me the Empress Hotel.  I can't wait for twenty years!
